Architectural Committee

Any home, fence, playhouse, deck, dock, boat ramp, storage building, dog pen, garage, fireplace chimney, wall, or any exterior alteration of a premise within Lakewood shall meet the architectural standards and setback requirements as established by the Associations Architectural Committee and meet the zoning laws of Norwalk.

Applications for approval should be submitted before construction is started. Follow this link to obtain a Request for Architectural Approval. Complete the application and mail, e-mail, fax, or drop it off at the Lakewood Office. It is recommended that fourteen (14) days be allowed for approval of a new home and all other projects. The City of Norwalk requires Architectural Committee approval before a city building permit is issued.
