Lakewood Safe Haven

Signs

Realty signs, garage sale signs,  For Sale signs, or any other similar signs are not permitted in any Common Areas such as the Entrance Monument areas or Lakewood Office areas.

Neighborhood Housekeeping: Please remove boats, trailers, campers  that may be parked in unauthorized areas; as well as unlicensed vehicles, yard junk and  other debris.

Vandalism & Trespassing
Help protect and preserve our neighborhood and common properties by reporting vandalism and/or trespassing immediately. Vandalism is an expensive crime that costs everyone. Notify Norwalk police immediately of suspicious or known activity; and please inform the LVA office or an LVA Board member also.

Good Neighbor Policy
Be considerate of others enjoying the common properties and sidewalks by leaving these areas better than you found them. Please pick up and properly dispose of all containers, food remains, bottles, garbage or pet debris. Remember the neighborhood Quiet Curfew is 10:00 p.m. in all areas.

NO DUMPING ALLOWED on common properties! It ultimately costs homeowners when common properties are used to dump trees, limbs, grass clippings,  leaves, or any other waste or garbage. Please bag leaves and clippings to help keep the watershed clean. No dumping of concrete into Finger Pond, around the lake, shorelines, or other common properties.

Rock throwing is prohibited. Rip Rap (rock) protects Lake Colchester shorelines. Removing it or throwing it into the water is a serious violation.

LVA Parking Lot
The LVA parking lot may not be used for vehicles for sale.
